Committees
Committees do the bulk of the work involved in organizing the HCSA's many events. They serve as an excellent way for students to get involved in the HCSA. Committees tend to meet once a week, and Sub-Committees meet as needed. Please view the active committees below, and please join one that interests you.

Events Committee:

The Events Committee is headed by HCSA President Tawnee Milko. The Events Committee is the organizing force behind it all. This committee focuses on the proposition and execution of all HCSA events throughout the semester. The Events Committee is in charge of decorating for all HCSA events, as well as cleaning up after events. If you enjoy brainstorming ideas for fun activities or already have a few of your own ideas that you would like to share, or if you would like to take part in the behind the scenes action of the many HCSA events, then contact
Tawnee Milko, and join the Events Committee.

Fundraising and Development Committee:

The Fundraising and Development Committee is co-headed by HCSA Vice President Amy Ring and HCSA Treasurer Aaron Burns. This committee is in charge of raising money for the various HCSA events held throughout the year. They also come up with creative fundraising ideas such as bake sales, flower sales, ect. This committee also attempts to secure donations from local businesses for such things as food and promotional items. If you enjoy working with local businesses as well as your fellow students, to ensure that the HCSA has the materials needed to hold our many events, then contact
Amy Ring or Aaron Burns and join the Fundraising and Development Committee.

Publicity Committee:
       *Campus Relations Sub-Committee

       *Information Technology Sub-Committee

The Publicity Committee is headed by HCSA Public Relations Chair Amanda Benjamin. This committee encourages creativity to enact new and innovative ways to inform the Honors College members of the many great events we put on for them throughout the year. This committee creates flyers and banners to distribute to the campus population to raise awareness of Honors College events. If you are interested in informing the campus population about Honors College events, then contact
Amanda Benjamin and join the Publicity Committee.

Campus Relations Sub-Committee:

The Campus Relations Sub-Committee is headed by HCSA Campus Relations Chair Ashley McIntosh. This committee is responsible for creating and maintaining relations with other student organizations on campus. This committee also assists the Public Relations Chair with the various duties of the Publicity. If you are interested in networking with other student organizations on campus, then contact Ashley McIntosh and join the Campus Relations Sub-Committee.

Information Technology Sub-Committee:

The Information Technology Sub-Committee is headed by HCSA Web Designer Jason Graves. This committee focuses on the upkeep of this website, as well as electronic communication with the Honors College, including Facebook, Yahoo Groups, and e-mail. This committee also maintains and organizes all photos taken by IT Sub-Committee photographers, and displays a select few of them on this website. If information technology interests you, or if you are interested in becoming an HCSA Photographer, then contact Jason Graves and join the Information Technology Sub-Committee.
